A Very Potter Musical (soundtrack now available!)

Hey guys! Starkidpotter finally uploaded their soundtrack online for everyone to download it! They can't sell it, obviously, because of copyright laws. So here's the link the the download.

I'm listening to it for the first time right now, and I love it so far. They have a different Neville (I'm pretty sure) and Cho Chang is now played by a guy (I'm under the impression Nick Lang and Brian Holden, who are two of the creators, did the voices. I'm thinking Nick is Neville and Brian is Cho). But besides that, and a word change or two, it's all pretty similar. Plus now you can understand everything they're saying!

I'm listening to "Granger Danger" right now and geeking out. It's incredible.

If you haven't seen AVPM yet, then I strongly suggest it! It doesn't matter if you don't like musicals, you'll love this. It's so outrageous and hilarious.

EDIT: Guys, I took down the link because I found out that the Starkidpotter crew is planning on releaing the soundtrack and they don't want the songs getting out right now. Brian Holden from the Starkidpotter crew sent this to me when I deleted the link I posted in a forum on facebook:

"hey julia, thanks for deleting the link. we're not mad, we just want to release the soundtrack through our website and stuff so it's official. Thank you for being so curtious! in the meantime, enjoy the soundtrack, but keep it on the dl. and as always, thanks for watching."

So. Yes. I'll let you guys know when the soundtrack is OFFICIALLY posted.

For now I guess Wonny and I will enjoy the songs... and you guys shall wait... XD

MERLIN! I watched it for the first time ever a couple of days ago, and I can't stop singing that first song. This is the funniest HP thing EVER! It's even funnier than potter puppet pals! Do you think they'd do a performance @ Infinitus?

What is everyone's favorite song?
Mine have changed so much.
At first it was hands down "Gotta Get Back To Hogwarts" but then it was "Voldemort is Going Down"
then I started liking "Granger Danger" which i really hated at first.
and now it may be "Dragon Lullaby" or "To Dance Again"

If I had to pick one it would be "Gotta Get Back to Hogwarts" because it is so long and has so many different parts but it is tough.

Heatherklus - It's so hard to pick a fav song, but it's a close tie between Granger Danger and Voldemort is going down. They are both such well done songs :D

I think mine right now is "Harry" - its the funnest one to sing on helium and short enough that it only needs one balloon. (I had a party recently and a lot of left over helium balloons)

Without helium though, it would be "Going Back to Hogwarts."

I downloaded it onto my mac and it was totally fine. Just unzip it like normal. :)

Wow. I'm really glad I found this thread after I got the soundtrack. The suspense would have killed me.

Can we talk Little White Lie for two seconds? Duder's a Spy is quite possibly one of the best songs known to man.

Ha ha, agreed. What makes it so awesome is it takes you a few seconds to realise that they're saying "Duder-Duder-Du-der" instead of just random "du-du" sounds. And then Brian Holden starts up and its hilarious.

The crazy thing is though, some of the most awesome songs on that soundtrack are the ones from the other bands in the battle of the bands. I kind of love "Love Grenade" and the Ex-Boyfriend's "You Left Me" is totally hilarious. But yeah, the whole soundtrack has been one of my favourites for awhile now. It's only been replaced in the past few by Mumford and Sons.

My soul will have a hole in it until "Me and My Dick" soundtrack comes out though...

Haha, a group of us watched Me and My Dick the night it came out. Two of them fell asleep, but in their defense it was about three in the morning because we came home from seeing another show. That was a good night.

I really want that text messaging song on my iPod.
