-How much is registration?
-What does it include?
-How much park time is included, if any?
-How much is a park ticket, if it's not included or if it's not a a lot?
-Where do I register?
-What are the advantages of being in the same hotel as the con?
-Where can I find out the events taking place at the con?
-When does the park officially open?

Most of that will be answered when the web site goes active and people can register. It will be posted here when the web site goes live.
Registration will be $165 until the end of August and then $180 til next Spring.
Advantages to staying at official hotel: 24-hour/day HP fanatics! Seriously, the closest non-official hotel from the Royal Pacific is over a mile away. So, it's unlikely that people would walk that...in July...in Florida. And, you have to count in travel back and forth costs and however you planned on doing that. Plus, being able to pop up into your room to swap something or take a nap is good. And, it's annoying to have to drive to another hotel at 3 in the morning. I've always stayed at the official hotels but, just anecdotally, every person I've talked to who was staying elsewhere commented that they wished they'd stayed on-site. If you can swing the extra money, I'd suggesting staying at an official hotel. Just makes life easier.
As I recall, except for the Royal Pacific and Universal Studios, there isn't much within walking distance of the hotel either (i.e. restaurants, mini-marts, hotels, grocery stores - although there is a Publix grocery store (Link (http://www.golynx.com/) bus 21, south) about 1 mile south of the hotel for people to pick up some groceries...maybe in one big store run. The closest of any of those is over a mile away. Not huge, but a bit much to jog it in the FL heat.
Park opens early 2010.

Nope. :) Won't know until it's up what it will have, but I'm assuming that it will answer your questions. If not immediately, beyond intial registration questions, in plenty of time before the event.
