Youth Quidditch game?

I don't know if you do this already but why not make a special Quidditch event for 14-16 or18 year olds who want to play Quidditch but not against like 30 year olds or something. I'll be 14 for infinitus and would love to do something like this.

It is possible to separate Juniors out and have them compete outside of the Merlin's Cup but that would be dependent on how many signed up (i.e. you need at least 7 players per team, 14, minimum, for a single match). Although, anyone 14-18 wouldn't have any trouble playing against 30-yr-olds.

Not convinced of the reasoning to run it though. Is it because the older players would be too much competition or not enough? :)

I'm assuming it is because the older players would be too much competition, but I'm not in that age range so I can't say for sure. But I know at least that when I was in high school and I was a freshman (14) just playing against the seniors was intimidating enough... I could imagine it would be a little intimidating playing against people in their 20's or 30's.

Hey, I was think, since you're going to be 14 at Infinitus, maybe you can look at the thread I posted on the programming ideas. KatetheKeeper came up with the idea to have the people going ages 14-16 like meet up somewhere, then we can be with people our age! :D What do you think??

why separate the age group since the majority of game play is not rough
