Ok, Hi, whoever is reading this. I'm Krysta and I'm not sure if I'm going to infinitus but I'm trying to convince my dad. Anyhow, since Florida is pretty far from where I live, I figure I'll ask my quiestions now before I get bit in the ass later for not knowing something that I should have. First, whats the deal with the hotels? We get a room, under infinitus or something? Then we're in? Or do we still have to register? And then do we have to buy a ticket to Universal's Island of Adventure to get into the WWoHP or do we automatically get in? And which wizardrock bands will be performing. Is it going to be in the park or at the hotel? I've never done this before, am 14, and completely confused. Can someone help?

The main hotel, where most of the events will take place, is the Royal Pacific Hotel in Orlando.
Infinitus is organized and set up by HPEF, not the hotel. The organizers make a deal with the hotel so they can use the meeting rooms; they probably have to pay a fee and promise a certain amount of people will book rooms specifically for the convention.
You have to register so you can attend the events and programing, but you might have to book a room in the hotel as well. Some people who live nearby will just get up early to be at the events and then go home at night, and some people will be sleeping in other hotels and such, but a majority of people going to the con will be booking rooms in the main hotels.
There are two other hotel options where I believe you can get a cheaper rate by telling them you are going to Infinitus: the Portofino Bay Hotel and the Hard Rock hotel.
Concerning the Universal parks, I believe the registration covers one trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, but only for those events that will be held there. If you want to explore the park beyond those events, you will have to buy another ticket yourself.
Quite a few Wrock bands come to the conventions, but I'm not sure which ones have registered as of yet. I'm thinking a lot more information about the specifics of the con will become available between now and May.

Read the FAQs, it'll really help you out. If you have any more questions after that, let us all know ^.^
(Don't worry about feeling out of the loop. Azkatraz, the Harry Potter convention that was held this last summer, was my first con, and I went alone. I totally understand what you are feeling.)

This is not correct (but everything else is). If you want to attend the special Infinitus event at the theme park, you will have to purchase a ticket (not a theme park ticket) to go. The organizers will release more info about this event at later time.
