I may be stepping on some toes here, for that I apologize. BUT, I must get this off my chest as it really bites!
We were asked to shell out $99 for a CD of the Prophecy conference with the expectation that the lectures and such PLUS any additional material would be included. We were jipped! All that exists on the CD is an audio of the lectures and such. There is no print material to download or print. Many of the presenters were also under the impression their papers and such would be available to us - so they cut back on handouts in this regard. If anyone from the Portus organization committee happens to read this - PLEASE! Make sure that what you are being offered is what we will be getting. 2006's Lumos has a CD with a hard copy of the papers from the presenters. Most of the presenters gave permission for their papers to be used for reference in classes and so on in addition to providing their cited sources for those of us inclined to do our own research. I would have paid $99 for a repeat of that CD in regards to Prophecy (what I thought I was getting) - but alas I was destined to be disappointed.
Perhaps Portus will have better luck?

Hi there,

There is a written compendium of papers from Prophecy in the works; however, we are not sure of the date of publication at this time.

We are planning to publish a proceedings for Portus as well, with an expected date of completion of approximately December 2008. There will also be the option to purchase audio recordings of programming at Portus for any sessions that you particularly enjoyed or had to miss. Please keep checking the site for more information as we approach July

Regards,
Bekki
