Ha. Is anyone else also going to VidCon 2010 in LA before Infin? Haha I'm just curious to see if I'm the only nerdfighter HP fan. Haha. Plus, it would be nice to not fly by myself from LA to Orlando. Haha. :)

I WISH!
Silly of you to think you are the only nerdfighter HP fan!
There is a fairly active HP group over at the ning.
Plus, I don't know a single HP fan who doesn't like Accio Deathly Hallows at least.
I really considered going for a few weeks. Then I realized I wanted to go because of Hank and John, not because I really liked youtube.
Don't get my wrong, I love youtube... but I am doing a lot of stuff this summer, all of which costs $$ (and as a student, money is hard to come by). Going to India and Infinitus just ranked higher on my priority list and zapped my funds.
If vidcon was further from Infinitus, I might have been able to do it.
Regardless, you have to tell me all about it at Infinitus. I'm super jealous you get to do both.

Similar to the poster above me, it came down to VidCon or Infinitus for me - and I also was kinda like, I LIKE YouTube but... why pay to do YouTube live when I can just... watch the videos later. XD
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go - but maybe next time around. :)
*whispers* DFTBA!

Dude, I would think having a fondness for the boy wizard is almost a requirement for nerdfighters!
I was thinking about going to VidCon because I would have been in LA then, but I'm coming from Australia and decided to go via Japan and London to Infinitus rather than via LA to visit friends who are living overseas atm that I miss terribly. So I'll be flying on my own alot too, but I always enjoy it to an extent. Time to kick back and catch up on all your trashy reading I say! Still, its sad that I won't even get the slim chance to have Nat Trang on my flight to LA...
Did you see that HP google video Hank put up recently? Freakin' hell, Hank is the master of NFTBA (not forgetting to be awesome). Try your best to make them your new best friends for us, k? :D

I will attempt to make us some new best friends! Haha. And I completely agree with loving HP as a requirement of the nerdfighter. Hahah. : )
But it's good to know that I've got something in common with a few nerdfighters. : ) I'll have to find you guys at Infin and tell you all about VidCon. : )
Money is definitely an issue right now, but since I don't really pay for much else(since I'm still in high school) I've made it this year's mission: Save up enough money to go to VidCon and Infin. Lord knows I never do anything else productive...Its good to have something to do with my time. Haha.
But I'm SUPEREXCITED to go to both.

Yeah I'd totally like to hear about VidCon! Once I figure out what costumes I'll be bringing/making I'll pm you so you can find me if you happen to see me.

Though I'm not going to Vidcon, I just wanted to assure you that you are NOT the only Harry Potter fan who is also a nerdfighter. I've been a nerdfighter for about two years now. :)
If I had a job, I would definitely go to both Infinitus and Vidcon, but it just wasn't in the budget, since I'm probably gonna spend a TON of money on merch and such at Infinitus.
I hope you have a ton of fun, though!

Yeah, I know a few of us are over on the ning, too. There's even an Infinitus topic over there. Heck, there's a nerdfighters meet-up at Infinitus planned. Info for it is all over facebook, even. Last I checked, there was a pretty good list of people RSVPing for it, too.
Unfortunately, though, no Vidcon for me. I live in Alaska, and I had to prioritize. AVPS and Infinitus beat out Vidcon, Anime Boston, and a myriad of other awesome things going on this summer. Darn that whole needing money thing.
DFTBA!
