I had posted this the other day, but somehow it got thrown into the vast emptiness into which reading glasses, spare keys, and single socks continually disappear. So! I shall repost.
I will be looking to share a room for Portus, and preferably a travelmate (although that's not as important). Here's a little more info:
-I will be arriving a day early, on the Edit: My dates were WAY wrong. I swear up and down I thought it ran from the 13th to the 17th. Therefore, I will really be arriving on the 9th, and leaving the day of the 13th. You don't have to stay all of those days, but it'd be really cool if you did!
-I'll be 28 (my birthday's in three weeks) and a Ravenclaw. If you're underage, that's cool, but keep in mind I'd like to have at least one nice, adult conversation about a serious topic before I play Truth or Dare.
-I'm a guy. This does not automatically mean I'm a lecher or a pervert. I promise on my honor as a Ravenclaw I'm a good boy. (Yes, I know, the irony of me proclaiming to be a good boy directly after I've made a reference to Truth or Dare. But let me ask you this: is ToD inherently a naughty game, or is it only the fact that you have a presupposition towards it that made you think it was naughty, and that therefore I must have a dirty mind? I say it is you who has the dirty mind.)
-I'm a fit for Hagrid. That is to say, I'm tall. And round. Yes, round. This means that in a double room I'll have to take up one of the beds by myself. Also, I'm a horrible sleeping partner - I have active dreams which generally involve covers being thrown about all night. This means that two more people can fit, three if one doesn't object to sleeping on the floor (and if that's the case, I wouldn't consider it fair to ask for recompense, being that it's my own fault that someone else can't sleep in the bed.)
-I don't smoke, I only drink socially (that is to say, no beer, only liquor, and even that in moderate amounts), and I'm generally pretty quiet. Please pick at least two of these three to have in common with me. Preferably the no-smoking and quiet part. I don't mind people having fun and conversating and being silly, especially if they're a little tipsy, but when they've slurringly told me they love me for the 9th time after they've polished off a twelve-pack...you'll forgive me if I choose this time to roll my eyes.
-Other than that, I can get along with most everyone that can get along with me. You know the old saying: "Hagrid! Is fun to hug! Hagrid! Is full of love! Just don't get caught in Hagrid's beard! Eeeeeeee!"
If this fits your bill, or you know someone whose bill it can fit, let me know so I can start making more concrete plans!
