Anyone travelling from Central CA?

Just thought I'd throw that question out there. As of right now, I'm looking into either departing from Sacramento or San Francisco. I haven't purchased my tickets yet (probably won't for a couple more months, circa January), but there's still plenty of seats left on the flights, so it's not too much of a rush. I was just wondering if there was anyone travelling from the same area.

I don't mind flying alone or anything, but my only problem is that once I get to Dallas, I have no way of getting to the hotel. I don't want to rent a car because of the cost, and even then it's not an option because you have to be at least 21.

So, basically, I'm wondering if there's anyone going from the bay area or somewhere in that general vicinity from California. And, if not, then for all of the other single travellers, how are you all getting to the hotel? Is there a bus or anything I could take? If all else fails, I suppose I could just put up the money for a cab.

me! i live in monterey. havent figgured out if i want to drive or fly. i dont want to do either by myself tho..i guss i dont mind flying alone but driving that far yes! heh. im 21 by the way..

Would you be interested in flying from the San Francisco airport, then? Because, while I don't mind terribly flying alone, it'd be nice to have someone to travel with so that I'm not completely lost once I get to Dallas. If you're interested, I'd be more than willing to work out a flight together. :D

Have y'all considered taking the train from LA? I am thinking about it for Terminus, and now I think it could be fun for Dallas too. Or are you definitely flying?
