In addition to Snapefest, it looks like there are several Snape-shipper meetups brewing as well as a few other opportunities for trouble that Snape-lovers are bound to enjoy. Snapecast is posting its top 10 list of things we're looking forward to - what about you?

I hadn't heard of any Snape-shipper meetups. Do you have any pointers for finding those?

I wish I had a fascinating reason for looking forward to Snapefest, but this is my first time at a gathering like this, and I'm just looking forward to meeting other people who don't think it's strange to be obsessed with Snape.

Thank God, somebody understands!

I haven't heard anything about the meetups either. I'm just looking forward to being surrounded by the depraved lunatics who remind me of me who get priority number one: discussing the professor...leaving no stone unturned in that discussion.

Meeting the cosplayers and seeing other dressed-up people will be cool.

Snapecast (http://snapecast.com/)has started posting a countdown on its website with information about different meetups as we hear them. Here's information and a point of contact regarding a Snarry Meetup (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/snarry_portus/1053.html) to take place during the Dessert Mingler on Friday night. And here's information about a mid-day Granger-Snape Meetup (http://southernwitch69.livejournal.com/157444.html) to take place on Saturday. I have yet to hear about plans for meetups for Snupin, Snily, Snack, and any other pairing with the greasy git, so I'm hoping if anyone else knows that they'll post information about it here.
