I was wondering if it was possible that once you are registered and paid for the event, that you could possibly unregister? My parents made a deal with me that if I get decent grades this year that I could go. But I want to register before prices go too high, because I am a poor 14 year old =[. I want to be able to tell them "Oh, you can pay now because you can always unregister later." I also need this information for a few other friends. Anyone who can answer this question will be a huge help! Thank you!

From the FAQs on the main website:

"What if I register and can't attend?

You may request a refund by sending an email to registration@hp2009.org. There is a 10% cancellation fee for all cancelled registrations through March 31, 2009. Between April 1 and April 30, 2009, there will be a 25% cancellation fee. Between May 1 and May 31, 2009, there will be a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be made after June 1, 2009."

So you will incur a cancellation fee, and this fee will rise higher the longer you take to cancel.

You may cancel your registration, but you will incur a cancellation fee.

I'm not in charge or anything, so you will want to wait for more confirmation about how Azkatraz is doing all the operations... but i believe it is possible to unregister or sell/ transfer /give it to someone else. There is likely a small charge for this, so you may not get a full refund.

Yeah I had the same question. The only way I would be able to go is if my dad had word in San Fran but he has no way of knowing this far in advance. I want to be able to get into the HBP showing but I know that the tickets are running out fast.
