*Watching/Avoiding the HP movies? Watch, watch, watch! At midnight on the release date if possible.
*How about HP merchandise? Other than books, the books on CD, and the movies, I haven't ever purchased any HP merchandise.
*Current reading: Re-reading Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman right now. I love fiction and non-fiction in general. I'll read just about anything, even the back of the cereal box if there's nothing else handy.
*Favourite music: Alt-rock and cheesy 80s tunes.
*Favourite TV: Lately How I Met Your Mother and Heroes. Of all time, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, and anything else Joss Whedon decides he wants to write.
*Favourite cinema: I like many different genres. I'm really looking forward to The Golden Compass and, of course, the next HP movie.

My sister and I just registered for this convention. We actually live in North Texas-close enough to drive to the Hilton every day and save some money, but we decided to book a hotel room anyway for the full fan experience. Have to do it right, if we're doing it!

Hey, I live in North Texas too! I was almost afraid my parents would just ask me to stay home and drive to Portus each day, but luckily they're letting me stay at the Hilton. It's all for the full fan experience. ^_^ I'm pretty new at this too, I've never been to a con before.

I'm so excited for Golden Compass too...I may be watching it at midnight, if all goes well. Have you read the His Dark Materials trilogy?

*Favourite HP book:Hmmmm...I have no clue. I loved DH, and PoA was awesome...I really enjoyed the rebellion in OotP. I guess i like all of 'em but GoF.

*Favourite HP line: Must i choose? I guess I'll have to come back to this one...
*Watching/Avoiding the HP movies? I actually still haven't seen OotP--I've kinda lost faith in the film adaptions (odd since I plan on being a filmmaker...)
*How about HP merchandise? Friends and family have gotten me odd little HP trinkets, but I normally only get the movies, soundtracks, calendars and video games.
*Current reading: Can't remember the name, but it's about the genocide in Darfur.
*Favourite music: I love WIZARD ROCK!!! As well as Irish folk music and the Goo Goo Dolls.
