i was wondering, does anyone know if you can bring food INTO the theme park? I know at disney you can as long as it's not a cooler; so i was hoping that the same applied to universal.

You can bring in a small cooler. They have lockers just outside of each park.

Just so you know, there's a Papa John's pizza right across the street from Universal and they deliver to the hotels. It's a lot cheaper than room service. The only thing is that you have to meet them in the lobby since they are not allowed to deliver to the rooms. My roomates and I plan on doing this one night. And yes, there is a food court at City Walk. They have a sushi place, a Panda Express, a Burger King and a MOE's (they sell salads if anyone here is a vegetarian). Then of course, there's a few quick service places in the parks that everyone can eat at. Basically, most meals are going to be around $10, whether you get quick service in the parks or eat at one of the fast food places in City Walk.

Also, another good idea is to stop at Walmart or a grocery store before you check in and pick up any soda/water/snacks that you can store in your room for the duration of Infinitus. It's a lot cheaper to buy soda and water outside of the parks.

that was my general idea, i was hoping that i would be able to bring it into the park in a backpack or something -- thats what i did for Disney a few years ago. and luckily, the off-site hotel i have is a suite with a kitchen! so i am deffinately loading up on walmart goods.

also, to keep it cheep, i wanted to avoid restaurants as much as possible. sandwiches are much cheaper to make for 6 people than to buy them from any food joint. thanks for the info though.

Is Papa John's the only pizza option that delivers to the hotel? Does anyone know? We were planning on ordering it one night as well, but if Papa John's is the only option, we might be rethinking that plan.

No, there is another company that sticks flyers under the doors, but I can't find the one I got last month to give you their name. They're a local company and are pretty good (or at least, they were 18 months ago when I ordered from them). Heidi, personally but logged in as admin, sorry.
