Talking I'm SO excited!!

*Name: Lauren
*Also known as: Lauren from The Moaning Myrtles or Lauren Myrtle.
*Age/Gender: 19 Female
*Birthplace/Livingplace: NJ and sometimes PA.
*Family Life: I have two younger sisters and divorced parents. Good times!
*Personality: I'm one of those people who never stops smiling. Even when I'm less than happy, but it's all good. I am a nut about taking pictures and videos at these conferences and I love my Harry Potter friends more than anything.
*Words (or small phrases) friends have used to describe you: Matt from The Whomping Willows said I was like "sunshine in human form".
*Education/Work: I'm in college and I work in the dining hall when I'm not wrocking.
*Favourite HP book: Half-Blood Prince
*Favourite HP character(s) - Canon and Fanon: Luna Lovegood, the Weasley twins. And I'm kinda in love with sexy fanon Draco.
*Favourite HP line: "Don't worry. You're just as sane as I am!"
*Watching/Avoiding the HP movies? Watching bitterly.
*How about HP merchandise? I have way too much of it. I check Hot Topic for new stuff every time I go to the mall. My entire wardrobe consists of HP shirts at this point. I also have several house ties, robes, full costumes, two wands (a pretty Alivan's Phoenix Rising one and a light-up Hermione one), and more wizard rock shirts and CDs than I will ever actually need.
*Current reading: I'm rereading the whole series over again, with the Bloomsbury versions of the books. I'm halfway through Chamber of Secrets at the moment.
*Favourite music: Ben Folds, The Fratellis, Jason Mraz, The Hush Sound, Paramore. Lots of wizard rock as well... The Remus Lupins, The Mudbloods, The Whomping Willows, The Parselmouths, Ministry of Magic, RiddleTM, The Weasel King, Draco and the Malfoys, Roonil Wazlib, and there are probably a whole lot more.
*Favourite TV: Ugly Betty, Friends, Firefly
*Favourite cinema: The Butterfly Effect, Bridget Jones's Diary, A Lot Like Love, Life As A House, Garden State, V For Vendetta, The Producers, The Holiday, Music and Lyrics.

*Favourite fandom websites: Wizrocklopedia and Leaky.

*Favorite non fandom website: Facebook, MySpace
*Philosophy for an easy life? Keep smiling and handle things as they come to you. And take pictures so you remember it.

The Moaning Myrtles info: MySpace and Website

I also have waaay too many fandom-related YouTube videos that might amuse you. I'm devilishlypure on YouTube.

Just thought I would let you know that I work with Jason Mraz dad. He is fun to watch beaming when Jason puts out a new release.

Hey

Yay for wrock and Leaky!

Firefly! Another browncoat? I love that series sooo much. I'm a sci-fi geek in general, but that is my favourite of all. More people need to write like Joss.

HBP is my favourite of the books as well.

Hi there! I am also SO excited about going to Portus! It will be my first HP conference and I'm thrilled.

I checked out your myspace, and I just wanted to say that I love your music. It's got that great jazzy vibe to it, and you are both so talented.

Yeahhh. I absolutely love Firefly. I didn't know about it when it was running, but a super crazy browncoat introduced me to the DVDs and Serenity, and I was so hooked.

My first was Phoenix Rising back in May and it was the time of my life. I'm so glad to be attending more! Thanks for listening and I'm glad you like our music! We can't wait to play at Portus.

Yaaayy I am just so excited. It's like a year off and I'm practically bouncing. I can't even imagine what I'm gonna be like when it gets closer. I can't seem to stop feeding my Potter collection either, haha. Even though I always tell myself that I shouldn't get any more, I somehow end up with it anyway. And Moaning Myrtle's such an awesome, unintentionally hilarious character... it's why we picked her for our band.

A super crazy browncoat. Is there any other kind?

I also didn't know about it when it was on, but the word soon spread in the sci-fi ether and before long I was adding to its incredible DVD sales. I just wish they could get something else made. I want more from the Firefly universe!

I love big crazy fandoms, but of course nothing compares to Harry Potter in that.

What house are you, by the way? I don't think you said that in your post. *checks*

Greetings! When I read your title that one line from the song just kept playing over, and over, and over in my head. I am here posting trying to make it go away.

I find it quite funny that (and reassuring) that I am not the only one with half a wardrobe of Hp related clothing. Really my friends (the real ones) taunt me about it constantly, where here it is, PROOF that I am not all the way insane!
