This is the easiest way for us to do it and keep track of everyone. I supposed you could sent a check for $55 to Snapecast LLC and we could email you a receipt. If this is the only option for you email us at snapefest@portus200.org and we can work something out.

I was planning on saying something at the dinner but this makes more sense. I've been doing some screenwriting the last couple of months and am working on getting one of my scripts - a Snape-centric screenplay - finished before heading to Dallas. I'd love to hear how it reads and get some thoughts on how it sounds like it would look on screen, so I was going to ask if anyone would be interested in participating in a cold-reading of the script after dinner (or before dinner if there's time). I was going to have participants pick a character to read and for the non-readers to write thoughts on post-its to give to me during the reading while I just listen to the readers and watch any audience reaction. It's a pre-Book 1 story and I've kept from reading any fanfic so far to preserve my perspective of Snape upon finishing DH (and falling in love with him of course). After the reading I planned on making the revisions and posting the script on Snape affiliated sites; I'm inwardly hoping someone might like it enough to take a crack at translating it into a vid, something I'd love to see.

Anyone think they'd be interested in the reading?

We have a vigil planned for after dinner. But I see no reason why people couldn't read with you afterwards, or break off on your own at any time. Maybe you can post a thread just for that?

Hi-

I've been trying to email to the address you gave, but it bounces back with a pemanent error message that there is no such host. Do you have another address I can use?
Thanks,
cardigrl

Do we have to order off the set menu? Or can we pay for transportation and then just order of the regular menu?

I just noticed there is a typo in the email. Sorry. It's snapefest@portus2008.org.
