A lot of non Potter posts seem to be getting through on this site. This didn't seem to be a problem with Prophecy until after the event. It is still safe to log on here? What is being done to get rid of this stuff? If I wanted to see porn, buy Viagra, or be otherwise offended I would just turn off my blocker and let what may come through. Some answers please!
We're removing them as fast as we can, but since we have to do so by hand, sometimes it might take a day or two. It is still safe to log on here, but just don't click on any of the links they post.
What about a mod that asks you to type characters from a picture? vbulletin is popular, so there surely must be one.
In my experience those things stop 99% of spam immediately. Although I suppose it might not work with quick reply without some adjustment (if quick reply is a mod on these boards). That could be an issue.
